Reviews
For a first time in this library, nothing to say, the setting is magnificent and well located next to the Place d'Armes hat! If you are out for a walk in Valenciennes you have to go there, there is everyone.
Super Media Library, a beautiful space and interesting offerings offered by friendly and efficient staff!
The only downside? At Christmas, they close for a whole week, almost 10 days closed... We can understand this for a private place but not for a public service... So, we will travel to the neighboring media libraries to work this Christmas.
I knew this media library in relation to the heritage days. I advise anyone passing by to visit it. The place is magnificent and there is a choice of books.
Friendly welcome
I gave 5 stars 🌟 deserved …
Despite some minor inconveniences
I'm always euphoric walking through the book shelves 📕
Beautiful structure, very pleasant and bright establishment …
Beautiful media library, you can find beautiful works there. A wonderful library for children. With friendly librarians and I love going there. Except this dark, bobbed, unpleasant librarian who talks to readers like dogs. I go to lend a book, she starts to look down on me. I don't know if it's because of my skin color or it's like that with everyone. But his nastiness and lack of respect rub off on this magnificent media library. If she doesn't like her job, let her leave reception and let the other friendly librarians do their job. THANKS
The environment is great! You can bring your computer to work, there are many comic books and activities for children, suitable for a family to spend the weekend!
It would be even better if it was open longer! Looking forward to opening on Sunday
This library is a real success. I didn't know it before the redevelopment period, but I certainly didn't find an equivalent in Paris, I assure you! A space where you immediately feel at ease (the bay window on the ceiling is splendid). The building is both very spacious and welcoming, warm colors with a host of furniture, ottoman, sofa, seats of all kinds which led me to spend a lot of time there when I was a high school student, whether to work , read, chat etc. And, when you want to take a break, the room with a variety of video games still allows new uses. The team is doing a very good job, so keep it up, it's a top public service!
Very good place for reading the various books available as well as computers with internet success
I recommend for Valenciennes residents
